I hear that wedding planning is stressful but I never experienced any stress with Engaging Events in charge. I cannot tell you how easy our planning process was. Everyone asked me throughout my 1.5 year engagement: “are you getting stressed out?” with an urgency that I was not experiencing. I was never stressing because Cindy had everything under control. She and the rest of her group made our process so fun and effortless. And, for half of the whole process we were planning remotely from Dallas, Texas. Still no stress. My biggest piece of advice to any engaged couple: USE A WEDDING PLANNER! Cindy, Caroline, and the rest of the Engaging Events team were beyond amazing to work with and if you are getting married in an area Cindy plans in, USE ENGAGING EVENTS! I cannot even put into words my complete and utter satisfaction with Engaging Events. Cindy was prepared for literally every single possible thing that came up (she’s been doing it for 16 years, she’s a pro.) She knows every. single. vendor in the low country area and they all tell me that she is the most organized planner they ever work with. From cake, to bands, to rehearsal dinner locations, to hair and make-up, to hotels, to anything you could possibly think of, Cindy knows them and they love her. She is incredibly organized, helpful, and knowledgeable. She has every detail planned out and has a timeline that she sticks to to plan everything. One observation I had when first meeting with Cindy and looking through her portfolio was the range of weddings styles that she coordinates. I thought it was interesting and now know after experiencing my Engaging Events wedding that she can provide such a wide range of styles because she is so intuitive to exactly what her clients want. She can see their vision (and saw mine even better than I did) and will customize your wedding experience to exactly what you want. If you want to make the best decision of your life (besides your spouse) choose Engaging Events!

You and Caroline were so very wonderful. We (including our families) had no stress in the days leading up to, or the day of, our wedding. The ambiance of our wedding was exactly as we envisioned (lots of dancing and laughter!) and the decorations were so amazing! We could have NEVER pulled off such a beautiful event alone! Our guests are still raving about the food, and just how much fun they had at our wedding. We very often here “your wedding was the best we’ve ever been to.” I wish we could redo it every year!

Matt and I felt as though we had the most amazing, beautiful, unique and meaningful wedding. Even a year later, we still hear the same from our friends and family. Cindy and her amazing team, took the time to truly get to know us in order to create an incredibly special day. Matt and I joke together that we wish we could have the same wedding every year!!

Having Caroline plan my wedding was the best decision I ever made. She helped bring my vision to life and created a day that was stunningly beautiful. I was never stressed or worried throughout the planning process. The team at Engaging Events is so creative and kind, it was like having your best friend as your planner!

For our destination wedding, we used Cindy and the girls at engaging events. We could not have pulled off our fabulous wedding weekend without them. For over a year, Cindy helped with every aspect of our wedding from stationary to flowers to custom cakes. All of her knowledge or the industry and her strong relationships with other outstanding vendors proved helpful and all of the vendors she suggested were top notch. Our five event wedding weekend went off without a hitch, and I will miss our hours long conference calls with my mom to work out all the details. We only had to meet with them in Charleston 3-4 times to plan the entire wedding. Her responsiveness through email and phone calls made her always available to us, even for the silliest of questions. I would highly recommend Cindy and her amazing team at engaging events for all of your wedding planning needs.

Caroline was AMAZING! She was so sweet and thoughtful throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was so detailed oriented and was so easy to work with – especially with my family being out of town. The day of went smoothly and I was able to enjoy the entire day. The whole team was FABULOUS!

Cindy and her staff were exceptionally brilliant with helping us plan our wedding! She not only understood my vision but, executed it quite magnificently; she also knew what I needed as a bride. Whether I needed encouragement or inspiration, decisiveness or more options, whether I needed tough love or a friend to just listen. Cindy was there. For the 10 months that we planned our wedding Cindy became like family! Marriage is a precious gift and a wedding is an outward and public display of an inward love. It was the biggest pleasure and honor working with you throughout the entire wedding planning process, and I really hated that it had to end because you made every step along the way so enjoyable. I have so much respect for you and the work you produce.
