We couldn’t have pulled off our wedding without Engaging Events’ help. Cindy and her team took the time to find out exactly what style, details, and budgetary issues were important to us. She set up an organized and precise budget that fit our needs, and made sure we followed it throughout the planning process. Not only did she listen to what we wanted in a wedding, she offered her own creative ideas that we never would have thought of ourselves. Stress was never a factor for me. During the planning process, Cindy was the one who spoke with and resolved any issues with the vendors. All we had to do was make decisions when necessary, and send her the payments. She really amazed me on our wedding day. Everything went so smoothly. Even when something did go wrong – the icing on our cake melted because of the heat – Cindy did such a good job fixing it, I didn’t even know it happened until the next day. When someone stepped on my bustle and popped a button, she was by my side in 2 seconds with a safety pin. Our wedding was perfect, and I owe it all to Cindy. Her services were worth every penny, and I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Cindy and her team are fantastic! They made the whole process so much fun and ridiculously simple. I am awful at making decisions, so Cindy had her work cut out with me. She helped me narrow down what I wanted with ease. She also helped me stay within my budget, which was a definite must. Our wedding day went flawlessly. All I had to worry about was not tripping while walking down the aisle! Cindy is also super sweet and very accessible. I would hire her again in a heartbeat (but hopefully I won’t have to)!

We firmly believe that Cindy was sent to us to plan our wedding. She is extremely detail oriented, organized, creative, and caring. The planning process was a breeze! Our wedding day could not have been more special and perfect, plus she ordered up the best weather possible! Cindy and her staff put in many hours and the result is spectacular. There were many guests telling my husband and I, as well as my parents, that ours was the best wedding they had ever gone to and we owe it all to engaging events! They had thought of everything. Highly recommended!

Cindy was an amazing wedding planner. From the beginning even before we had signed a contract she was fully invested in our interests and concerns. As soon as we officially chose Cindy she was immediately able to get the high level details she needed from us to begin the planning process. It was a very fun but structured process to get us thinking about all of the necessary facets along with giving Cindy an idea of our priorities and We were a destination wedding and were only able to be in Charleston a few times before the wedding. Cindy was great at both getting all of the information and ideas from us and reflecting it back to us over the phone as well as incredibly structured and productive days when we were in town. The wedding and rehearsal dinner were both incredibly amazing and beautiful. Both had unique styles and tastes but came together in an amazing fashion. We wanted everyone at our wedding to know who Cindy was because she was so truly amazing and such an integral part of our wonderful day.

Cindy was so fantastic to work with! The first time I spoke with her over the phone we just clicked. She took a bride like me who was a skeptic about the whole wedding planning process and turned me into someone who was truly excited about every little detail. She made it so easy for me to make decisions. She knows what questions to ask and to guide you in the right direction without being pushy or having an agenda of her own. Best of all, she listens! I honestly can say that I could not have found a better planner for my wedding. I knew that every single detail would be taken care of and I did not have to worry about a thing. The day of my wedding was actually the most relaxed I was the whole process because I knew “Cindy was on it.” She is a class act for sure. When we walked into our reception tent, we truly could not believe the transformation that we saw. Engaging Events truly exceeded every single expectation that we had for the space. We still look at pictures and can’t believe that we actually had a wedding that beautiful. We would highly recommend Engaging Events to any bride (and groom)!

When my daughter decided to have a wedding out of town, she also implored for the services of a wedding consultant. My “kneejerk” with all of the imminent expenses, was NO NO NO. after pleading her case, I relented. It was not only a GREAT decision, but with the savings was absolutely cost efficient. Cindy was not only skilled in finding deals, but methodical, efficient, dealt with quality venders, tireless in her effort, accessible, and reassuring to all in the process. Cindy was there from start to finish, in the background, to make sure that all went well, even giving ol’ dad his prompts. At the departure of the “new” couple, Cindy was still there, with her crew, to not only dismantle, but to make sure all needs had been met. I absolutely credit Cindy with the success of the wedding, and the compliments of the attendees, and for actually doing this in a very cost-efficient manner!

Cindy was great to work with! Great ideas to share, I would have never thought of the things she suggested. We had a destination wedding and our wedding weekend was awesome. As the bride, I never had to worry about a thing, I was able to take in and enjoy everything! Easy to communicate over email and phone. Really made our wedding “ours” and not just something someone else had done. Cindy was very professional and really knows how to work with the vendors and facilities to get what you need and want. Would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Cindy is the greatest at what she does – always handles things well, very efficient and professional, and very personable and fun as well. She made everything so much less stressful for myself as well as my mother – which is a lot to say, since I was planning a wedding in Charleston from Tampa, FL. We always had a great time working with Cindy. I highly recommend her to all!
