We strongly recommend to all of our couples to purchase event insurance in order to protect the investment you are making on your wedding day. It protects you should the unexpected happen such as an issue with your venue, a vendor, your gown, inclement weather, etc. It can also provide you with liability insurance should one of your guests do something that causes damage to your ceremony or reception venue. For a small price, it can leave you with a lot of peace of mind on your big day.

Event insurance can often be purchased as a rider on your homeowners policy or, if you prefer, you can use a company that specializes in wedding insurance. Two companies that are popular and can be found online are Wedsure and Wedsafe. Just remember, you have no coverage until you purchase the policy, so don’t wait too long.
