Peter and Deanna’s prohibition styled wedding has been featured on Zola! The Sanctuary on Kiawah Island was the backdrop for their intimate wedding. The ceremony took place on the grand lawn with a breath taking view of the water. The groom’s grandfather officiated the wedding, which was the sweetest thing! After the ceremony, the guests were treated to an elegant cocktail hour with passed champagne and delicious Charleston themed hors d ‘oeuvres.
Guests then made their way to the tented reception on the lower lawn. Their inspiration for the wedding reception was The Cotton Club of Harlem. They wanted the reception to feel exclusive with lights, glamour, and a big band! Peter and Deanna chose a bold color palate of black, red, and silver that really gave it that old Hollywood feel. We had custom menu cards at each seat, beautiful crystal chandeliers hanging in the tent, and stunning red floral arrangements at each table. One of our favorite details has to be the red rose garland going across Peter and Deanna’s sweet heart table. They danced the night away and then ended the night with a sparkler departure to a vintage white Bentley.
We had so much fun with the design and the couple throughout the planning process. We hope you love it as much as we do!
