Hi my name is Jessi Martin and I am doing a summer internship with Cindy Zingerella at Engaging Events this summer. I absolutly love working with Cindy and Angie and could not have asked for a better place to intern this summer! My first day I was thrilled to be a part of Lindsay and Matt’s wedding on May 1st, 2010 at St. Lukes Chapel and the Historic Rice Mill.

The ceremony was held at St. Lukes Chapel and was gorgeously decorated with flowers from our own Judy Johnston. Wreaths accented with apples welcomed guests into the church, while pink tulip pew markers and bright pink gladiolus altar arrangments framed the bride and groom and gave a burst of color to the church
Guests were welcomed at the reception held at the Historic Rice Mill with a refreshing raspberry lemonade signature drink.
We decorated the outdoor patio with white draping and chinese lanterns giving guests a nice place to relax and view the harbor. Later in the night guests were able to kick off their fancy shoes and dance the night away in flip flops matching Lindsay and Matt’s color scheme!
The evening ended with a rose petal departure for the bride and groom to a waiting Charleston Black Cab. My first event was great and I was so happy to have been apart of Lindsay and Matt’s special day, and I wish the best of luck to the new bride and groom!
