If you are as sentimental as we are then, you are going to love Sweetgrass Botanicals. Sara Edi Boyd is a landscape architect that brings your beautiful flowers from your wedding into your home for you to treasure for years to come. Most often it’s the bride’s bouquet that she creates a unique piece of artwork with but, has done anything from boutonnieres, to mother’s bouquets, to flower girl halos, or any other flowers you had in mind.
First Sara begins the process of pressing and drying your flowers. She usually likes to have the flowers sent to her within a week of the wedding and the process of drying your flowers can take several months. Next Sara stains the mounting boards to replicate vintage parchment. Your flowers are then added to the board either to reflect the way your actual bouquet looked the day of your wedding or they can be displayed as more of a horizontal wildflower garden. She then adds a stamp at the bottom with your names, the wedding date, and the location of the wedding. Finally, the frame of your choice completes your custom design.
It’s the perfect keepsake from such a special moment in your life. Sara truly creates a one of a kind piece for each bride.
