April 16, 2011

Charlotte and Ty were married on beautiful Kiawah Island overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It was an incredibly windy day,
however, it was also a wonderful day because the prediction of rain never materialized- and we were all so thrilled.

Charlotte chose a color palette of apple green, pink and some seersucker in blue. It was a great color scheme for spring
and I think Charlotte’s soft and pretty style and Ty’s preppy style were merged wonderfully – creating a beautiful day!

They and their guests enjoyed cocktails on the patio and tent, followed by dinner in the Atlantic Room,
then back outside to the tent to dance the nite away.

It was a wonderful evening and we were so thrilled to be part of it.
Congratulations Charlotte and Ty!

Lindsay and Andrew were married at John’s Island Presbyterian Church just outside of Kiawah Island.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner and dancing at the Ocean Course.
Lindsay and Andrew’s cake, by Elaine Mincey, was a focal point in the Atlantic room for guests to admire during dinner.

Judy Johnston of Engaging Events did a beautiful job on the centerpieces of garden roses, thistle, and pincushion proteas.
displayed in different size wood containers and shadowboxes..

After dinner there was dancing in the tent which was decorated with custom fabric pillows and candle centerpieces.
Tan fabric was draped from the ceiling of the tent and navy linens with coral flower bud vases continued the tan, navy and coral color scheme.

We used the custom fabric to cover the lounge furniture so guest could enjoy the spectacular views and ocean breeze.
Best of luck to you both! Congratulations Lindsay and Andrew!
And many thanks to Collette Mruk for the wonderful images!

We are so excited to have started the Spring wedding season with Anne and Steve!
Their ceremony was held on the lawn of the Ocean Course on Kiawah Island, overlooking the beach and ocean.
We framed off the ceremony area with urns filled with pink hydrangea and regional grasses.
It was a perfect spring day, blue sky, beautiful sunset, and warm ocean breezes.

Anne carried a bouquet of white calla lilies, wrapped with remnants of her mothers wedding gown.
The bride’s beach girl side was incorporated into the gorgeous cake with edible sea shells, by Elaine Mincey.

Many thanks to the Ocean Course staff, Olive Productions, Artistic Eye Productions and Williams Duo for making their day extra special!
Congratulations to Anne and Steve! Best of Luck to you both!

Kristin and John were married at the beautiful John’s Island Presbyterian Church.
The church was built in 1719 so you can imagine how much character this church has!

The reception was at the Ocean Course on Kiawah. Guest’s enjoyed Arnold Palmer’s, shrimp and grits, and oyster Rockefeller just to name a few of the tasty treats!

Kristen’s bouquet was filled with garden roses and tulips and wrapped in her grandmother’s handkerchief (something borrowed!).
Jim Smeal did a wonderful job replicating the lace pattern from Kristin’s dress onto the delicious cake.
Even though it was little chilly, that didn’t stop everyone from dancing the night away! Even Cody and Jake stopped by for the fun!

Best of Luck and Congratulations Kristen and John!!!!
