The Veranda at Magnolia Plantation

Sarah and Jared were married on the white bridge lawn at Magnolia Plantation.

This is one of the most photographed foot bridges in the lowcountry…They followed the ceremony with Cocktails, Hors D’oeuvres and Lawn Games on the Veranda and Front Lawn.  Upon sunset..guests were ushered to the back lawn where Southern Oak Trees, tents, bistro lighting and candlelight greeted them…along with great food from Duvall, Dance Music, Cupcakes from Elaine’s Events and the super fun photo booth from Olive Productions.

A great time was had by all – we hope you enjoy these sneak peeks..see more of this great event on our Scrapbook!

The Engaging Events Chalkboard served as a directional piece as well as a schedule of events.

The back lawn behind the veranda created a wonderful garden party feel…as did the lounge seating and umbrella tables from Eventworks!

Elaine Mincey provided wonderful cupcakes and a small cake for the ceremonial cutting.

Congratulations Sarah and Jared!

Ariel and Brett

The Historic Rice Mill

Ariel and Brett were married Memorial Day Weekend at the Historic Rice Mill

overlooking the City Marina.

The backdrop for the ceremony was a wrought iron arbor fashioned with white flowers and white fabric.

The aisle runner and the chairs were also white.

Engaging Events tied raspberry pink sashes to the aisle chairs

and our florist tied purple orchids to the aisle chairs.

In lieu of a wedding cake, Ariel and Brett chose to treat their guests to cupcakes.

They came from their favorite place “Cupcake” on King Street in Charleston- they had frequented the

shop during their courtship- so it is a special place for them.

The ceiling of the covered patio was draped with White fabric by Engaging Events.

We lit the patio with a variety of shapes of white Asian lanterns; and furnished it with

our white sofas, throw pillows, and coffee tables.

We congratulate Ariel and Brett on their wedding and wish them all the best in the years to come!

Briana and Ben’s Rehearsal Dinner

Sandcastle

October 29, 2010

Ben and Briana Kicked off their wedding weekend of festivities at the Sandcastle on Kiawah Island.

All of their wedding guests were invited to a nite of fabulous food and good cheer.

They celebrated with their family and friends on the eve of their wedding to the cool sounds of Rotie Salley of Soulfish singing and playing guitar.

Their favorite lowcountry eats were also served- oyster po boys, fried chicken, homemade mac n cheese, shrimp and grits just to name a few.

It was a fun filled nite and the perfect way to kick off the weekend!

Ben’s prized possession, his boat “Po Boy” was the centerpiece of the room…

The gum paste boat was created by Elaine Mincey;

and miniature cupcakes were the perfect dessert item after all the fabulous southern but filling food.

Briana and Ben were looking for a more relaxed rehearsal dinner anxious for everyone to arrive to the island and just kick back and enjoy!

Judy Johnston created center pieces with sand, shells and beach grass to set the tone.
